The area and its attractions |

The Vendean littoral is a very appreciated vacation resort; its landscapes of holidays as its exceptional sunning are the principal reasons.
Very dynamic area, it will offer many activities of full air : beach, nautical sports, fishing, bicycle riding, pedestrian excursions, golf (18 holes of Saint Jean de Monts to 15 kilometres), tennis (to 3 kilometres), horsemanship (riding school to 2 kilometres)…
Sallertaine, village dominating the marsh, reappears during the beautiful season thanks to many activities (“L’île aux artisans”, “Le moulin de Rairé”, canoeing…). You will find there very convenient small traders.
You will like Challans (to 8 kilometres), thanks to the dynamism of its town centre, its market and its many fairs and animations (“Autrefois Challans”).
Saint Jean de Monts and Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, very famous seaside resorts, will offer you their sandy beaches and their summer environments (festival of jazz, night markets…).
Don’t forget to visit the main Vendean islands :
 Noirmoutier and its famous “passage du Gois”, its saltmarshes and its natural sites;
"L’île d’Yeu", whom you will join in boat, and will discover its well preserved and still sauvage environment.
Many cultural events are also at your disposal and will allow you to know the rich history of the Vendée. Let us quote the «Grand Parc du Puy du Fou», the «Logis de la Chabotterie», the «Château de Tiffauges», the «Historial de la Vendée» . Children and adults will enjoy other animations : the aquarium of Noirmoutier or of La Rochelle, the “Planete Sauvage” (safary park), the zoo of Les Sables d’Olonne...
And for those who really need relaxation and relieving, we advise you the cures of thalassotherapy suggested by the marine thermal baths of Saint Jean de Monts. Organized per half-day, one duration of 5 or 6 days, they will ensure you a large well being.
In the cottages, we will place at your disposal informations on the area (tourist guide, magazine, folders,…) and we will be very happy to advise you in the choice of your activities and leisures.
The Vendean littoral has a microclimate, with equal of that of the Riviera, ensuring you more than 2.250 hours of sun on 140 kilometers of fine sand beaches.
